The beginning
Shiftwave was born at the Santa Barbara Center for Art, Science, and Technology, where our team conducted thousands of experiments, collecting over a billion data points to understand the body's foundational systems. This extensive research led to the development of our core technology, combining pulsed pressure waves and real-time biofeedback to optimize human psychophysiology.
Real-world impact
After rigorous testing and refinement, we recognized Shiftwave's potential to provide immediate mental health support. In response to the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, we deployed our technology to offer healing and relief to wounded soldiers and traumatized children, demonstrating its effectiveness in crisis situations.

We established collaborations and partnerships across the military, professional sports, global wellness brands, and frontline NGOs - each aligned with our mission to bring nervous system regulation to the center of human health and performance. Ukraine initiative with Gen.Ukrainian
In collaboration with Gen.Ukrainian, a program dedicated to providing psychological rehabilitation for some of the most severely traumatized children in Ukraine.
Shiftwave CEO Michael North and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Jeffrey Rouse visited Gen.Camp to install Shiftwave technology and work with the medical team to develop specialized rehabilitation programs for these children.

In Ukraine to help wounded soldiers
Within 6 weeks of the full-scale invasion, the Shiftwave team mobilized to support Ukrainians on the ground with our advanced nervous system technology, restoring and realigning refugees in processing centers and donating Shiftwaves to evacuation rescue drivers.
