From AI and sleep science to women’s health and recovery tech, the ATN Innovation Summit 2025 brought together the best in fitness, wellness, hospitality, healthcare, and technology.
We were honored to attend this year’s inaugural event, held June 17–18 at Centre415 in New York City, a powerful and brilliantly organized gathering of nearly 1,000 leaders reimagining the future of human performance including: Dr. Frank Lipman, Eric Litman - Aescape, Mark Rivers - Canyon Ranch, Calley Means - Truemed, and Dr. Gary Brecka.
A Summit That’s Redefining Wellness
During his opening remarks, ATN Founder and CEO, Edward Hertzman declared: “When I look out right now, I don’t just see fitness brands…I see doctors, I see wellness operators, I see tech founders, real estate executives, med spas, apparel execs, data scientists, hotel groups and consulting firms.”
That spirit of convergence and collaboration echoed across the entire event. Fitness is no longer a standalone industry, it’s merging with neuroscience, hospitality, medicine, and digital health. The future of wellness is integrated, intelligent, and deeply personalized.
The Shiftwave Experience at ATN
At this year’s summit, attendees had the opportunity to experience what Shiftwave is truly about: guided nervous system recovery through real-time vibration, sound, and breath. Whether they were elite athletes, hospitality executives, or wellness professionals, its impact was clear - people walked away feeling more focused, rebalanced, and restored.
At the core of Shiftwave is our belief that nervous system health is foundational. Yes, our patented BioDrive® mode harnesses real-time heart data to adapt each session to the user - but that’s just one part of the journey. Every single protocol of the 50+ available is designed to meet people where they are - whether they need to activate, unwind, or reset.

Wellness Is Expanding - And So Are We
As the summit explored the rise of wellness travel and hospitality-led recovery, we felt right at home. Shiftwave is already being integrated into industry-leading environments like Canyon Ranch and Hyatt’s Seabird Resort & Spa - offering guests moments of evidence-based restoration in luxury spaces.
“There’s a huge demand now for hotels focused on wellness and longevity,” said Barak Hirschowitz, President of the International Luxury Hotel Association. “It’s probably the newest trend we’re seeing.”
We believe this is only the beginning. As wellness continues to evolve, recovery is becoming a cornerstone of the fitness experience - not just something you do after a workout, but something that defines your capacity to perform, adapt, and thrive.

What Stood Out
Across panels and conversations, a few core themes really resonated with our team:
-
AI & Personalization
From adaptive coaching to predictive recovery tools, AI was top of mind. Shiftwave contributes to this trend with responsive technology that adjusts in real time to how your body feels, not just how it looks on a dashboard. -
Women’s Health Rises to the Forefront
Panels spotlighted the industry’s growing commitment to women’s strength, hormone health, and recovery - a trend that aligns with our own work to create inclusive, adaptable protocols for all bodies. -
Sleep as a Performance Metric
No longer a side topic, sleep took center stage at the summit - framed as a cornerstone of engagement, longevity, and overall wellness strategy. As conversations shifted from ‘tracking sleep’ to actively supporting it, it was clear the industry is moving toward solutions that help people get into rest - not just measure it after the fact.
Shiftwave’s Synthetic Sleep® protocols were built for exactly this - guiding the body into deep, parasympathetic states using breath-paced vibration patterns that mirror natural sleep rhythms. Whether someone needs to unwind mid-day or prepare for more restorative nighttime sleep, these sessions help regulate the nervous system and make rest more accessible - anytime, anywhere. -
Hospitality Meets Health
With recovery tech finding its place in spas and resorts, we’re excited to be at the leading edge - making scientific wellness not just accessible, but inviting.
Looking Ahead
At Shiftwave, we can clearly see that the lines between fitness, hospitality and wellness/performance are blurring and businesses looking to capitalize are the ones that share this vision.
We left the ATN Innovation Summit with a renewed sense of purpose - and a lot of excitement. Events like this confirm that the future of fitness isn’t just about exertion. It’s about recovery, adaptability, and nervous system strength. And Shiftwave is proud to be leading that charge.
We’re looking forward to seeing more Shiftwave appear in more gyms, studios, and high-performance centers - because being fit is no longer just about pushing hard. It’s about how well you recover, reset, and rise again.
To everyone who stopped by, shared a session, or simply connected with us - thank you very much.
