An iPad with a USB-C port is required to run Shiftwave Pro. For the smoothest performance, we recommend Apple’s newer iPad Air or iPad Pro models (M-series). Below are our tested recommendations — larger screens are a personal preference, not a requirement.

Headphones are required for Shiftwave, and choosing the right style helps create the most comfortable, immersive experience.

Fit and comfort can vary from person to person, so we’ve put together a quick guide:
On-ear / compact over-ear: Good if your ears sit slightly further back helping prevent contact with the chair during vibration.
Over-ear noise-canceling: Best for shared spaces or when you want to reduce background noise.
In-ear: Excellent for a single dedicated user, provides a more enclosed, immersive feel.

If you prefer a wired headphone, you’ll need either a USB-C docking station or an audio adapter.

Stands are optional, but they can make your iPad easier to view during sessions. A docking station is only required if you plan to use wired headphones. For Bluetooth users, an iPad stand is purely for comfort and convenience.
