While today’s announcement (see press release below) spotlights our collaborations with  the NFLPA, Exos and OneTeam, this is only a glimpse into the efforts of the entire Shiftwave team in working with individual athletes, national teams and coaches right across international elite sport.

Santa Barbara, CA, 4 December 2024 – Shiftwave, the groundbreaking wellness technology company, has entered a multi-year agreement with the NFL Players Association (NFLPA), OneTeam Partners, and human performance company Exos to transform the well-being of current and former players. The partnership leverages Shiftwave’s patented nervous system regulation technology to improve athlete wellness and recovery while driving initiatives in engagement, licensing, events, marketing, and research.

Shiftwave, the world’s most advanced nervous system regulation device, is designed to enhance recovery, mental health, and overall wellness for athletes. It uses patented bio-drive technology and pulsed-pressure waves to reset and balance the nervous system. This reduces pain, improves sleep, boosts vitality, and promotes natural healing for faster recovery.

This collaboration focuses on advancing player health, safety, and performance through joint research and advocacy efforts. It aims to foundationally address critical issues relating to physiological and mental health, including pain, sleep, and longevity, generating insights to improve long-term outcomes for NFL players. This partnership is also part of the NFLPA’s commitment to expanding its human performance partner portfolio, continually identifying innovative and non-invasive solutions that support players’ health and well-being.

Additionally, Shiftwave’s advanced wellness technology presence within Exos’ performance facilities will expand, providing more athletes with enhanced recovery solutions and optimizing their overall well-being.

OneTeam will support Shiftwave by creating content, integrating their solutions with other player associations, and providing access to partner events. Additionally, OneTeam will help secure funding for projects aimed at addressing common health challenges like pain relief and anxiety.
